Territory Sales Manager - Conveyor Products

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling all Martin Engineering products, systems, and services to ensure maximum market penetration in the assigned territory.  The Territory Manager will work with end users, and through resale accounts in specific regions or industries, to increase sales and profitability.  This role will ensure that the needs of Martin customers are met through proper application of products and services and that we meet or exceed their expectations.  The Territory Manager must continually search for new ideas and innovations to serve the industries within their assigned territory. The ideal candidate will live in or around Oklahoma City, OK.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop a customer base for Martin products, systems and services, closing sales directly with end  users.
  • Provide consultation to Distributors and Dealers.
  • Plan and organize sales activities including phone sales, direct sales, and sales tracking reports.
  • Establish a specific territory sales goal, plus individual sales goals for each sales channel within the territory.
  • Work with Service & Technical personnel in developing new ideas and innovations to meet ever-changing customer needs.
  • Maintain contact with Customer Support to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION & SKILLS:

  • Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred.
  • Three or more years of Industrial Sales & Engineering experience preferred.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Must be a proven self-starter and have the ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.
